I was a teacher and all of my children went to public schools. We are a family that values education.  

Funding our schools is the paramount duty for our state but it is falling short.  The amount per student has not kept pace with inflation. I am hearing fears from teachers for their safety.  With investments to secure our schools, we can ensure safety for all schools in our state.

We must support career and technical education. Our children deserve pathways to  careers that do not require a college degree. We need to address cyber security to protect the personal information of children and parents.  We need to promote cyber safety and prevent cyberbullying.

Our children are the future. Let’s support their education.
